Welcome to Algebra 2 Land!!!

Course Descriptions:

Algebra 2: Algebra 2 is a full year course.  Students will study linear equations, linear systems, inequalities, quadratic equations and functions, transformations, matrices, complex numbers, operations with rational expressions and rational, exponential and logarithmic functions. Students will be expected to have attained proficiency from Algebra 1 in the use of fundamental algebraic operations and solutions. Students will participate in the use of technology. Algebra 2 is not part of the mastery program.
 

 

Honors Algebra 2: Honors Algebra 2 is a full year course. Students will study linear equations, linear systems, inequalities, quadratic equations and functions, transformations, matrices, complex numbers, operations with rational expressions and rational, exponential and logarithmic functions. Students will be expected to have attained proficiency from Algebra 1 in the use of fundamental algebraic operations and solutions. Students will participate in the use of technology. This course is fast-paced and offers in-depth problem solving. We will learn a lot of concepts in great depth in a relative short period of time. Expectations are extremely high. Honors Algebra 2 is not part of the mastery program.
