Enduring Understandings:

  • Students will read a wide range of text, including literature from many periods and genres.
  • Students will learn and apply a wide range of reading strategies.
  • Students will use a wide range of writing strategies and processes to communicate with different audiences for a variety of purposes.
  • Students will apply knowledge of language structure, conventions, and techniques in reading and writings.
