I am an Algebra and Honors Geometry teacher at Bentonville High School in the Bentonville Public School District.

I love higher level mathematics of any kind and seeing the light bulb go off in my students’ heads as they understand new concepts about the world around them through mathematics.  I especially enjoy bringing the world of mathematics alive to my students through the use of songs and hand held technology.  Please see the songs section of this website and visit the technology page to get the latest updates on the best technology to be used in the classroom.  There will be new songs added every once in a while, and technology is changing at a very fast rate.

I am a member of Arkansas State Teachers Association (ASTA), and have been on the executive board for ASTA for over a year.  I am also treasurer for ASTA and the president of the local ASTA called Bentonville Teacher’s Association.  We are part of the Association of American Educators (AAE) which is the national affiliate for ASTA.  These are independent associations of educators not affiliated with labor unions or partisan politics.  Click on the names for more details.
