PreAP 8th (&7th) grade science is a one year course which integrates topics from life, physical, chemical and earth/space science. While the content is essentially the same as the standard course, the class emphasizes independent expectations enhancing higher level thinking skills and responsibility on the student’s part which is needed for AP and advanced level science classes. Example: Students are given a homework reading assignment. The next day they would be prepared to ask questions regarding previous night’s reading, if understanding is needed; and be ready to apply that reading in a class laboratory investigation. Lab work is given to a PreAP student expecting them to pre-read and perform the investigation with little or no teaching instruction.

Computer access!!!

when and where can you access a school computer?  In the library and/or computer lab each morning at 8:00 and/or during seminar.  You get 3 FREE copies or prints each day.  If you go during seminar you must have a pass from me, just let me know.
