Course Selection

IB Language A1 HL is an intensive course in literary analysis and composition. During the year, students will study a selection of great world literature drawn from drama, essay, fiction, and poetry. The goals are to prepare each student to meet the International Baccalaureate Organization’s criteria for diploma recognition through in depth literary scholarship with college-level texts. 

AP Literature and Composition is a college-level course designed to provide the students with the skills and background needed to analyze literary texts. Students will read a variety of works in preparation for the spring AP exams.

Mythology explores the relationship between humans and the stories which define their cultures and ways of thinking. Comparative in nature, the course provides a sampling of stories from world mythologies.
