Class Description:

Welcome to LJHS 8th grade Art! This class is designed to provide an introductory art experience to 7th and 8th grade students as they enter into their first years of secondary education. Students will create a wide selection of artwork that will build skills in drawing, painting, ceramics, and multi-media. Students will also have an opportunity to enhance learning in their other classes.

Students will also learn the importance of the elements and principles of design.

There is a class fee of $10 for Art 7 and Art Survey (8th grade art)- and $15 for Art 8 (Advanced class available to 8th grade only) to pay for art materials.
