Seventh Grade Math is a full year course that meets daily. This course is designed to enable students to gain proficiency in basic math skills with whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and integers. Other topics include geometry, measurement, simple equations, statistics and probability, and problem solving. This course will use the mastery learning methodology. A variety of teaching methods will be used to actively engage students in their learning. Instructional strategies will include cooperative group activities, writing opportunities, and investigative approaches to learning.
