Class Description: 

7th Grade Art 7 Survey

Art 7 Survey is a one semester course to introduce students to secondary leevl concepts to studio art.  Students will view artists and works from different points in history.  Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands on projects students will focus on both the concrete and abstract nature in art.  The curriculum will be centered on the Elements and Principles of Design.  There is a $10 Art Fee for materials.  The students are also required to provide a sketchbook for the class.

Art 8

(Prerequisities:  Instructor Approval) 

Art 8 is a full year course designed for advanced artists to further pursue their developing style.  Students will expand their previous knowledge of art history and technique, while building a portfolio of diverse works created with multiple mediiums.  There is a $15 art fee for materials.  Students will also be required to provide a sketchbook for the class.  This class is by audition or instructor only.
