English III

Text:

  •  Fahrenheit 451

        

In English III, students continue to build a foundation of reading, writing, critical thinking, and research skills. Students will read a variety of works, including poetry, essays, novels, plays, and short stories. Every student will be challenged to formulate and defend their opinions through class discussion, small group discussion, and writing assignments. Students will also be expected to maintain a portfolio of written work and to contribute in collaborative learning groups.
