United States History:  U.S. History, in one way or another, is the story of connections within the human community.  It ranges in scope from tales of individual families to narratives of all humanity.  At every level, the work of the historian is to seek out the crossings of boundaries and the linkages of systems in the human past - connections across regions of the world, among themes in history, and across periods fo time.  US history, rather than the sum total of all of history, provides a focus on the conections among localities and themes pertaining specifically to US History. 

AP Human Geography: Human Geography is the study of human’s imprint on the landscape of earth. Furthermore, it is the study of how people make places, how people organize space and society, how people interact with each other in places and across space, and how people make sense of others and ourselves along the lines of locality, region, and world. There are 5 themes that will be covered in all units of Human Geography. The 5 themes are location, human-environment interactions, region, place and movement. These themes will be addressed in how they interact and mold landscape in concerns of scale and place when dealing with the 14 chapters of Human Geography.
